The Case for Transactional Consolidation - Current State, Planned Direction and Potential Use Cases
This session will introduce the concept of transactional consolidation and explain how it differs from the traditional approach to consolidation. Delegates will learn how an additional ledger is used to store the eliminated values and explain key concepts, such as currencies, accounting principles, and calendars, as well as the integration with Group Reporting.
Our expert speakers will also look at the changes to the intercompany sales and stock transfer processes that ensure greater transparency for the business process and the transfer of ownership between subsidiaries. Delegates will learn how this increased transparency will help their teams make better decisions.
