Hydro Aluminium Metal have taken steps to introduce a new range of digital tools to support their end-to-end maintenance process in recent years. In this holistic approach, SAP Asset Strategy Performance Management and SAP Analytics Cloud are fundamental enablers, in combination with new mobile applications for recording technical asset management data and standardization of the work processes. Hydro is currently implementing a One Smelter Maintenance Strategy, scaled across critical assets and processes. In 2022 the organisation implemented SAP Asset Manager for mobile maintenance as part of the SAP S/4HANA transformation. Supported by its implementation partner, Evora IT, in this session you will hear about the vision, objectives and business drivers for implementing mobile asset management solution at RWE Renewables. You will also discover the challenges faced and overcome during the project like covering internal and external maintenance, integrating with difference checklist solutions and migrating big amounts of legacy transaction data. We are going to share the feedback and learnings from the project team and give you an insight into what comes next in RWE Renewables’ journey towards intelligent asset management.
